I have relatives who’ve had that operation.

Not exactly an original concept; Sophia’s filter was burned out by a stroke on Golden Girls, and Dan Fielding claimed to have been born without one on Night Court.

And the pseudo-anonymity provided by the internet helps some of us to bypass that filter.

I think half the world needs that surgery.

Ah the old think before you speak concept……………

We are talking about Trump, yes?

Somehow that filterectomy left Rat with a potty-mouth.

Some of us are born without one. Or, at least it doesn’t function very well.

Sometimes this is me, I admit it

Almost a definition of mild Tourette’s….

Donald Trump had that, too.

The filterectomy procedure explains a lot of people, not least internet trolls….

I’d say something but I still have my filter.

I must give Rat credit for one thing.Even if what he is thinking is vile, he thinks before he speaks.That more than i can say for most of the “humanity”.

Baby, I was born this way.

This may explain “The Donald”…just listen to his campaign speeches. Trump may have had this operation.

I like the idea of losing the filter, but then becoming someone who is truly supportive of other people.

I know a guy like that. It makes you very careful what you say around him.

And Rat had it purposely removed, why am I not surprised? :-)

I have never had surgery in all my 21 years.

Yet.

If you get old enough, a filterectomy is unnecessary. It stops functioning on its own.
