Looks like Rikki has a very strong persuasive personality :)I just hope that Mr Riley is still in the right state after Rikki made her convincing.

Well, at least Abner is an “honest thief”! He even has the integrity to complete contracts after the people who hired him are dead (although there may also be ulterior motives for that).

….sorry, but Abner is just TOO GOOD a villian to kill off, ever…..like a few of Gould’s, this one seems loved by all and would stand the test of time…..be proud, Mike and Joe!

Thanks for those. They were interesting. I note that O’Brien’s film eventually became King Kong vs Godzilla and I remember that Tracy seems to be a fan of Japanese monster movies, or at least King Kong ones. He used his film buff knowledge to distract Kiko from killing him back on March 13.

Who’d have thunk Abner would PAY for rare film. Of course killing is a paying prospect for him, so there’s no profit in killing Riley

So, Abner’s birthday is in July huh? I woulda figured it to be around All Hallows Eve instead.. nice curveball there mike!

And referring to my post yesterday about Drac’s digs being on the market… yes, it was Bran Castle that I was talking about, and the original story I read the other day stated that Vlad’s descendants are the actual owners but they couldn’t afford to keep the place going (it has been a tourist attraction for years and they run guided tours thru it). They had supposedly offered it to the Romanian Government, but were turned down and it was then put on the market for $14 million.

After digging a little deeper I had seen that it was for sale several years ago for $66 – $80 million… but the current owners of the castle shot down current rumours of the castle being for sale.. they even installed ELEVATORS in the castle to make it easier to get around… although there is till no indoor plumbing at all lol!

Still, when I win that Power Ball Lottery on Friday and take home over $508 million, I will buy the castle, install plumbing (and electricity! lol) and continue the tours, having two friends of mine who ACTUALLY live in Romania be caretakers/curators.

(I got plans! lol)

I love Abner and Rikki (shouldn’t her skin be white?), and I’d hate to see either get killed off.They’re sort of a murderous Addams Family.

O, God Bless Abner & Rikki…may they live long & healthy lives..I will never speak ill of the un-dead..

Abner must fall, entertaining as he is. Rikki must live to seek revenge, although that never seems to work out so well.

The Japanese did do a Frankenstein related movie that sounds closer to *O’Brien than KKvsG.

That blog entry also mentions Frankenstein Conquers the World (US, 1966). Is that the one you mean? I mentioned KKvsG specifically because it tied in with Tracy’s comment to Kiko about a couple of obscure Japanese King Kong movies. Tracy seems to be a fan of old Japanese monster movies.

And, Rikki? Don’t lose that number…
