Looks like that explorer is a little “slow” too.
I’m thinkin’ slowsand would be the opposite of quicksand.So instead of sucking you down into it…it grabs you and comes with you…..stretching out like a fat strand of rubber cement….Which of course slows you down.Hence… slowsand.
They’ve wandered into Xanth. Slow sand is fairly common there.
It’s been way too long since I visited Xanth! Time to go.
