Aha! These are the guys who long ago painted the hardwood floors (ruining them) in my 95-year-old house. The harsh paint shrunk and warped the boards, so they have to be kept covered by carpet or linoleum.
This reminds me of Sunday strip I first saw in the 1970s. They were using tiny little brushes because they were being paid by the hour, then the lady of the house came in and told them forget it, she was giving them a flat rate. Out came the giant brush and roller and Mutt & Jeff never moved so fast in their lives!
Then there was Mr. Bean wrapping all the furniture in paper, then leaving the open paint can in the middle of the floor with a lit firecracker stuck in it. Unfortunately, he had forgotten to take something out, so ended up with a Bean-shaped silhouette by the door.
