I'll be with you in a moment. Just park him up on the table! I'm a Basset not a truck! Veterinarian
You’re still going to have to be looked at by the vet, Fred. Hope it’s just a regular check-up.
Temper, temper, Fred!
I hope the thermometer isn’t cold!
Coincidentally, my partner just took his dog to the vet this morning, convinced the dog had skin cancer. Turned out to just be scabs from infected tick bites.
Hope he just checks the bonnet and stays out of your boot.
I’m surprised the word “truck” was used, and not “lorry.”
Fred’s owner is going to need a shower after getting a big dose of basset smell…
Truck is used as well as lorry (or wagon, in some areas) in the UK, and in this context ‘truck’ has the right feel.
Hope your MOT goes well Fred!
a good vet will get down on the floor with the doggie and not submit him to the extra stress of being on a high table
and a big basset at that!
Ah Fred time for your annual shots again.!!!
Trying to get a basset up on the table could be about as awkward. I’d think the lorry backs the truck up & parks it.
