Cracked it? Friend of mine practically blew one up. We had a bunch of friends over at the house one night. I was working at the counter between the sink and the range when I heard what sounded like an explosion. After I came down off the ceiling, I looked around and found the removable crock split very neatly in two. Seems my friend had set the crock down on a hot burner. Fortunately, there wasn’t anything in it at the time. But I don’t remember what dish we were now unable to make for our guests.
