That’s right Satchel! Sometimes, when Bucky’s on a rant like that, all you can do is sit back, hide behind the couch and say “…oh my…” And Rob’s speechless.

I’ve always said that anything that has to be Judged is NOT a sport. A sport is something timed, measured, or counted, and somebody wins outright without debate (usually).

I would like to see Darby run Get Fuzzy as a Sunday-only strip, and ditch the daily reruns from less than ten years ago. This is a disturbing new concept in syndicated strips – do ten years total of original work, then run it in an endless loop? We’re not talking about “Classic Peanuts” here – it was good work, but the daily strip had its moment and it’s over – it’s been over for 3 years now. Produce new material or give the space to some up-and-comer.

I’m thinking of ones that run on actual newsprint. Fuzzy takes up space (in my newspaper, The Boston Globe) that could go to something fresher.
