    While I think glenbeck is a jerk for his ignorant name-calling (irony intended), I at least agree that both political parties have exhibited disdain for the Constitution. Anytime anyone suggests amending the Constitution to reduce anyone’s rights, they show their failure to understand rights at all.

    pschearer, I’m sure you’re right, but what disdain for the Constitution did you have in mind from the Democrats?

    Eh, yeah, I’m with cdward on this… where have the Dems been doing this? Ah, wait… the Second Amendment. Gotcha.

    Personally, I don’t know that handgun restrictions is such a measure of disdain - it’s not hindering the right to organise a militia - and free speech is restricted so that you can’t yell Fire! in a crowded theater..

    “The right to bear arms” shouldn’t mean any weapon, any where, any time in my own opinion. But the Democrats have given up on the issue entirely, so.. yay, NRA. I guess.

    Now if we could just do something about those d-mned Activist Republican Justices.

    “Except for brown babies.”

    And gay people. They’re not equal either. Especially if a narrow majority votes that they’re not equal, because a popular vote saying that a minority is inferior always trumps the Constitution. And I’m sure a majority of registered (white) voters in, say, Mississippi or Alabama in 1962 would have agreed.

    Just in case, I am being ironic here. Not everyone gets that.

    The part written to exclude tribes which had not signed treaties to “subject” themselves “to the jurisdiction thereof” is interesting. Spanish is the second language of many of the illegals. We might have better luck treating with the tribes than a Mexican government that seems to have increasingly little control.

    Thank you, glennbeck. I hadn’t heard of de Zavala. He would have liked us to keep Mexico City when we took it.

    Escott2u;

    That was a very well written rebuttal and something that I had not heard of. If true, (forgive me for I have not yet had time to verify your post), that should be all the leverage the courts need to evict the squatters and their anchor brats. But that would be too much to hope for, wouldn’t it? And for all of you who think the illegals are so wonderful for our country why don’t you let them move into your homes and share the love???
