Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there

    Copacabana by Barry Manilow

I don’t think anyone’s looking for a dog that does Manilow’s songs, but I could be mistaken.

If Poncho was singing Manilow, I would put him back, the worm thing I could handle.

Lesson #1, Poncho! Seek attention, and yee shall receive it - in spades!

@Sheik Yerbouti - I wouldn’t mind one - all my doggies do is bark, bark, bark all day long.

Manilow’s a big dog lover, though. Porcho knows who his friends are.

Mandy was a beagle. That song takes on deeper resonance if keep that in mind when you listen to it.

Whoa, Mandy, Well you came and you gave without taking, But I sent you away, Ooh Mandy, Yes you kissed me and stopped me from shakin’ And I need you today…

The guy had a puppy who gave him unconditional love, but he gave her away because she cried all night (he made her sleep in the garage). Now he regrets it terribly…

Way back in high school (way, way, WAY back) the turn of phrase was “Death Before Disco!!!”.

So, if I had a dog singing Disco tunes, then yeah, it’s a sign there’s some malady with him.

    DEWORM!!! DEWORM!!! DEWORM!!!

Such a tiny Porcho—fits into a hand. Does that mean that Boomer is also a puppy “now”? He was not towering over Porcho/Poncho during P’s excursion into The World Out There.

Hey Poncho, you might have done better if you were channeling Martha Stewart like Fergus (“Citizen Dog”) today!
