We have dogs in all the yards around us and I LOVE watching the social interactions. They very DEFINITELY have their own social code, and ain’t no human gonna change it!
While I agree with you regarding intentional docking and cropping, there are dogs that are born with naturally docked tails. When I was a teenager, I had such a dog. He did have a tiny bit of tail about an inch or two long, but it was not something he could wag… and he was born that way. There are also several breeds of dog which have naturally docked tails. Makes me wonder how this comic would address a dog like that.

Same with declawing. It’s very cruel.

I have a granddog who does what I call a “full-body wag”.

I have a boxer and requested the breeder leave his tail intact. All his littermates were docked at 3 days, but my guy has a glorious tail!

It is in many countries, including mine. Now it is shocking to see a docked tail or cropped ears, usually foreign dogs.
