The 2 things are “I’m a doctor and the fox sent me and/or simon says” are the best guess so far alright. It Could be Allie, I think it’s too soon to tell.It never occurred to me they would meet with resistance.
Maybe if Holly grabbed and hung from the end of the lever, that would be enough extra oomph to pry the grate. It looks like he needs to put all his weight closer to the end too. Levers work great if you can get enough counter weight.
I wouldn’t hesitate to tell the guy about the fox and that he is a doctor, and if that doesn’t change things, I would go at that lever smarter and get down there anyhow.
From the newsletter (which you TOO can get if you become a Patreon at the correct level):"Holly’s birth father was an absentee parent from the time she was born, leaving her mother to raise her alone. Her mother married “Doc” Chase when Holly was about 10 and [she] died of cancer seven years later. Holly married Lyn, a man about eight years her senior, approximately two years out of high school."

Time to play the “But I’m a Doctor” card. Or maybe the password is “Fox sent me”. ;-)

I’m guessing they’ll need both to get in.

Those eyes look familiar… Allie? Those rumors about alligators in the sewer were true!

Jacob: “I’m joking. You want the sewer cover over at 5th and Thomas. This one’s the service entrance.”

Holly can get through any hole she can stick her head through.

Pity. They had grate expectations.

“Piss off!” is not a comment someone should not make when they are under the grate.

Hold on, whoever you are! You didn’t say “Simon says”!
