While police, judges, and yes military DO tend to be authoritarian personalities, meaning conservative and tending right, not all are. Speaking as a disabled veteran with a son who is also after 13 years in the Navy, seeing lots of action on the ground, never on a ship, a disabled veteran, we recognize there is a considerable variety in those professions.
