Here in Michigan, we normally run the AC three whole days a year. This year, we were still running the heat on the first of July; by the fourth we were in the nineties. This week will be WELL into the nineties. Lil could cook Stupid in this heat.
The summer of 1980 (the hottest in my memory) we lived in a 60 year old brick house with a slate roof and plaster walls. It was a gigantic heat sink. My wife and I would lie in bed and listen to the window unit air conditioner try in vain to keep up with the heat pouring out of the masonry walls while the sweat poured out of our bodies. This summer is shaping up to be worse than that one.
You already have Turtle Wax ingredients in a lot of your food. Including Peeps, candy coatings, and ice cream sprinkles. Carnauba wax: It’s a car polish and a dessert topping.
