A nice tribute to Edvard Munch Steve, Is this the last of our LDL , sniff ……

Love this strip and would like it to go on….but it would be nice to see LDL get back home to his family.

I’m getting used to great strips ending after 5 or 10 years. I’m used to it but that doesn’t mean I’m happy about it.

Okay, just got caught up and saw Steve’s announcement. Thank you so much for bringing us Little Dog, Steve. I will brace for the end of the month. I know I will cry, but so happy to know LD will be safe and snuggly at home. You have done an epic run with a truly magical strip. And thank you for taking care of your fans. Congrats on the new little one, (ooh, I pegged that! grin. But the end too, darn.) Who knows, maybe someday one of the kids will get inspired to pick up and tell us about LDs adventures at home. smile. best always, PDD

Steve, thank you for LD and all of his comic mates. I have enjoyed this strip immensely and I’m going to cry now. Even my dog Mouse is crying.

HI – Thanks for noting that there were comments from Steve on the 11th, as I’d not seen them. I am not at FB too often but glad to know about the page.I will really miss LDL, too, as he reminds me so much of my rescue beagle, Abigail, gone now 8 months. The “wagging tail” always makes me smile. Bye, LDL! And good luck to Steve.

Soon Little Dog Lost will join the Great Roll Call in the Cloud with other wonderful strips: Big Top, Bo Nanas, Citizen Dog, just to name a few.

Please please PLEASE let our little friend Go Home. My joy in these daily comic strips is fading into a kind of despair. We ALL need to Go Home. Let it happen…let it happen…

I can’t wait to find out his name. I’ll be glad to see him get home and sorry to see him go all at the same time.

OH! I am SO going to miss that little guy!And yes, grumpy little Tortie (Vern), too.Even Buzz, Jack, and the squirrels..Little Dog Lost ought to end with LD finding his home, and Tortie getting adopted by the family, too. Buzz and the others can hang out in the yard..Personally, I think LD should get his name back, but he will always just be LD (or LDL) to us here.

Perhaps the strip will run from the beginning again? Many, many of us have never seen the start of the adventure and would love to be able to join LDL and his friends from his first lost days.

Why is it that all the comics that I’ve never heard of until the last year or two come to an end within that year or two of adding them to my favorites?!?!? I hope we can have Little Dog Lost Classics so I can go back to the beginning. I’ll be happy that he’ll be home again.

I’ll miss LDL and Steve’s beautiful art work, there’s not another who comes close. Thanks Steve for all the fun, I’ll miss this little guy.

Steve, We’ve had a few conversations over the years. (Starting with Kingdom of the Spiders comment.).We (my wife and I) have an animal rescue that started when a lost beagle showed up on our 30 acres of land. That little dude (Buster) has led to thousands of dogs finding homes over the last 20 years. .LD has always been very special to me and I thank you deeply for the joy (and some tears!) you have brought me over the years. I hope Go Comics will rerun these. I was somewhat late getting to this one so those early ones would be ‘new’ to me. I know I’m not the only one in that boar either..Not been commenting lately because of reading LD on the ‘Post’ website instead of here.

Going to miss LDL. Hope they start this from scratch; I’ve really enjoyed LDL and friends, and would love to see it from the beginning. And I’ll second the suggestion on putting the whole story out in book form!
