Tough to use that big a pot when the kids move out and you’re only cooking for two. You end up eating a lot of leftovers until you adjust your amounts.
Yep cook large portions and freeze individual sizes for later. Turn the cookware over to the dog for pre wash and washing is a breeze from there. I only buy meat if it is on sale or marked down. No reason to pay full price.
