Someone speculated yesterday about the possibility of Moon Governor being Bribery’s boss. How would that fit with Bribery’s plan to invade the moon and use his ring to ward off attacks by Moon people?

Yes, I’d have to agree, Bribery, either. But he does kind of grow on you, doesn’t he? Just like the rose grows on the Blue Meanie. (Hee-hee.)

If Mr. Bribery gets any closer to his computer screen while skyping, he’ll slobber all over it! He is positively drooling with excitement and anticipation of Tracy’s demise! Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched, my man; nor your detectives before they are laid to rest!Rikki’s secret lament in panel 2 may be taken as a foreshadowing, I’d say….

Bribery is really “in yo’ face” today!

Back when Abner confronted Bribery in Bribery’s HQ, they had a conversation where Bribery questioned Abner on why Tracy was still alive. Abner answered that, although Bribery wasn’t aware of it, he was actually helping Abner fulfill the contract on Tracy, even as they were speaking.How does that fit in with what we are seeing now? Bribery seems totally unaware of what is going on with Abner, and neither of them could possibly have known about Tracy’s European vacation at the time of that conversation.

I hope Bribery has his Depends on. There is a strong smell of urine in the air. Looks like Rikki can smell it through the Skype.

We have not had a post from SYDNEY PHILLIPS in quite some time. Although his posts were sometimes rambling, I have known Syd for about 15 years on various DT chat boards and he is one of the most knowledgeable Dick Tracy scholars I have ever met.

Syd is elderly and not always in the best of health. I fear for him since he hasn’t posted for so long. Neil Wick, Willy007 and I have tried to contact him by email without result.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with him, I think there are many on the board who have concern.

Today on “As the Moon Rises”…Rikki continues to fear that Abner is in danger…
