That looked to be about a 6-hour nap (with breaks to catch up with the shade).

Cats move with the shade or the sun ray without anyone ever seeing them move. Ever. They are obviously a superior breed to dogs.

We have a dog that keeps moving to stay in a sunny spot in our living room

might’ve been me…off shift on a widfire, there was only one tree at the fire camp…beat from working the night shift, I laid down in the shade, and every few minutes the sun’s heat would wake me up, I’d roll into the shady spot, fall asleep, repeat….must’ve looked funny if anybody happen to be watching!
