About cats being mean after catnip from late last night: I found several articles that said yes, they can. It just affects some cats that way.

Good morning, everyone. Loving all the pics today. My DVR is giving me catitude, I keep having to reboot it. It’s almost 3 year old so I expect it has built in obsolescence, since the deal with the cable company is that you rent it for 3 years and then it’s yours. By having it die before the 3 years is up, you lose all your recordings (sounds of weeping and desolate wailing) and have to rent/buy a new one (grrr, snarl). Grumble, grumble, grumble….

Some pet owners have the right idea.

bbear…the ‘box of loathing’ + kitten reacting to open hand’ are beyond wonderful. Thank you.-———Queen…yes, I’ve had many different reactions to catnip (not myself but my kitties), including getting mean. Most of them get nutty and lose their mellowness for a while. I always hang around and supervise till it wears off.-——-Glad Mr. Calvin is back to his sweet self. Hey guy…your new home is just around the corner.
