Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for July 27, 2016
Transcript:
Phoebe: For the last month of school, all I could think about was summer. Now it's not even the last month of summer, and already all I can think about is school. How come it's so hard to just think about where I am now? Marigold: Because you are human. Phoebe: Fine, rub it in.

I think it’s because the unicorn is in motion, so her current location is constantly changing.

The unicorn is right, humans are the only ones who worries about problems that still not exist… or arrives.

Sorry Phoebe.

That was a very smart answer from Marigold. Humans will always think about the things they DON’T have instead of appreciating what it’s already or currently in our possession.

I dunno….looking back, one of the charms of childhood was the ability to live completely in the moment. Even when I knew it was time to go buy supplies it didn’t seem completely real.

I have to ament that previous post. I always knew when summer was coming. I guess it was school that was never completely real to me.
