Very few generals & admirals ever want a war. Most will do almost anything to prevent one. It’s only when you’re in an actual war that you want one of those kind, such as Patton. He was a terrific manager & strategist of the battlefield, but was such a nut, he just couldn’t understand peacetime. He wanted to fight the Soviets, once the Nazis were defeated!And as far as I can see, the people we’re killing, deserve to be killed, those in ISIS & Al-Qaeda, who are simply murderous thugs that place no value on human life.
