I’ve always been a big fan of FORD ( Fix Or Repair Daily ) pickup trucks and have owned ( or leased ) a bunch of them over the years but have never been particularly enamored with the Explorer – still it’s better than a Chevy Suburban or Yukon.I have driven a YUGO on a couple of occasions – once in the States and once here. Not the easiest vehicle for a 6’ 220 lb. guy to get in and out of – much less drive !Driving it, I felt like I was in an enclosed riding mower. !
@Apikoros – It wasn’t that anyone was confused by ‘Nova’ and ‘no va’, but rather that the pun was so easy to make. Given the quality of the Nova, it didn’t take long before it was commonly ridiculed as the No Va south of the border.

Years ago, GM couldn’t figure out why the Chevy Nova didn’t sell in Mexico. No va is Spanish for It doesn’t go.

I heard the best thing about the Yugo was the heated rear window. Kept your hands warm when you were pushing it.
