Whoever had the bright idea of designing superhero costumes to be skin-tight, with a long flowing drapery good for creating wind drag?
Didn’t Martha Kent (superman’s adoptive mother) make his costume from the blankets he was wrapped in when he was sent to Earth?
Supergirl last season addressed the cape issue, helps with turning.
“No capes!” ~ Edna Mode, “The Incredibles”.
I could never figure out how she cut and sewed the blankets, since they were indestructable.
Here I come to save the day…
It’s your own fault, Supes, for learning to fly. When the costume was originally designed, all you were capable of was leaping an eighth of a mile.
Glenn & Gary obviously didn’t see the first episode of “Supergirl” where, when he was designing her costume, he determined that the cape was good for aerodynamics.
