does anyone read their Bible on an electronic device (iPad and/or Tablet for example)? some people in my congregation do, but not I (when it comes to bringing the device to church)
I tried using the RSV-Catholic Edition on B&N Nook, but there were no headings at the top of the page. You can’t use it like most people use a Bible, looking up chapter and verse. I fond a cool app that is free for RSV-CE, but it has lots of in-app purchases available. It seems like it’s basic engine is Logos Bible study and has add-ons like NT greek and hebrew, etc. I used to have ASV, 1901 edition on the original Nook, but haven’t found that edition. I’ve taken to carrying around my old leather-bound copy. It weighs about the seme as my 10.1 inch Samsung nook and is much more useful. Why do I use th RSV-CE? It has all the books that were used by the early Church and were removed by the Reformers. Compare the Wisdom of Solomon with the Gospel of John, and the prophecies in wisdom were fulfilled in the Gospel of John!

The comic jests about God owning a cell phone, but truly no one wants to listen to Him or spend time with Him. He cannot “connect” with the creatures, though they seem to have no trouble connecting to each other—without reference to His existence, or the soul’s existence either.
I wonder if Christians had uneasy feelings when the printing press was invented? No longer scrolls, lovingly and painstakingly crafted, but cranked out by a machine…
