You can still get carbolic acid soap (the stuff that blinded Ralphie in A Christmas Story) from Indonesia through Amazon. Smells like a hospital in the 1960s, and a deep red in color. Great for some skin conditions, and a good disinfectant. Lifebuoy branded soap (Unilever) is still manufactured in Cyprus but no longer contains carbolic acid, although it is scented that way.
