@benbrilling I think they’re holding coffee cups. Take a close look at the one in the center bottom - that looks like a handle to me. Plus, holding a coffee cup in the morning would make much more sense than holding a business card. (And yes, I realize how little sense it makes to be talking about a comic making sense.)
