A swimming instructor at a Los Angeles university was quizzing a group of students on Red Cross life saving and water safety techniques. They answered all of her questions easily until she posed this one: “Which article of clothing would you remove last if you were catapulted from a boat or dock fully clothed?”
Everyone mentioned something different. It was evident that no one knew the correct answer, so the instructor helped out. “The blouse,” she said, “because the air gets under the blouse and acts like a buoy!”
I am not entering this alliterative P-ing contest, today !
I do know the reason for Larry’s peevishness. He has been inundated with politics ! His television, radio, newspaper , is filled with stories, negative ads and solicitations. All his friends and neighbors can talk about is how terrible it would be if so-and-so got elected !It can’t even go to the bathroom without drawing some sort of analogy to the current elections. ( "Nuff said on that topic ! )
Larry would be much happier as part of my crew. Any discussion of politics aboard my galleon The Irish Rover® is strictly forbidden ! The only election on board is for Captain. Yes, that’s right. I am the freely elected Captain for as long as the crew wants me and feels that I’m doing a good job handling the ship, being a fair and just boss, and providing fair shares for the crew.( Of course, the fact that I own the ship, doesn’t hurt, either….)
I offered Larry a free cruise to get away from all the election excrement excitement, but since he says he gets terrible seasick, even taking a bath, he settled for a few free drinks at the Tiki.

We can use some HUMOR here:

The subsequent uproar ended the class.

I think we might need more of this.
I am going to the Jersey Shore next week so I will bring plenty. Especially for me after looking in the mirror in my bathing suit.
