Those sure were the days… why did luggage makers think of wheels and telescopic handles in the first place?

My suitcase is my duffle bag I got as a present from my Uncle Sam in the 80’s .

I always said, never take more luggage than you can carry yourself! And then why did it take so long after landing a man on the moon to put wheels on a suitcase?!

Not this plugger. In fact, I want the kind of suitcase you can ride; not because I am lazy, but because I have two very arthritic knees and one torn rotator cuff. Check out the riding suitcases at:http://money.cnn.com/video/technology/2016/07/22/modobag-motor-suitcase.cnnmoney/

Used to have a set of matching luggage: a gift from mom when I went to college. (or maybe a hint to leave home?)Those suitcases are long gone. They were beautiful, but impractical -way too heavy and they lacked wheels.

All a plugger needs is fresh socks and underwear! Should fit in the belly pack just fine…

I flew to NYC in 2009 with my very old, non-wheelie suitcase, and experienced a VERY long weather delay (basically, had to hang around the airport ALL day.) I did notice what kind of suitcases most of the other travelers had, and went out and bought one the following week :-)

Do I need to turn in my Plugger Card?

I used to travel with only things I wouldn’t mind losing. It’s easier that way. If I wanted to keep it, I wore it, or it went in my carry on.
