Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley for August 21, 2016
Transcript:
Bucky Katt: Allow me to recite my new poem... Satchel Pooch: Ohhh no! Ha ha! I'm not falling for that again! I still remember the Ol' "allow me to hit you with a few extracts from cats" trick! Bucky Katt: But this actually is poetry. Satchel Pooch: I can't take that risk. What's the saying? Fool me once, cat poo on me, fool me twice, well that's just more cat poo on me. Bucky Katt: Lemme get this straight: You're saying no... to art? Satchel Pooch: No, no. But I am saying no to whatever your poem is. Bucky Katt: A Philistine is more smarter than you. Satchel Pooch: Ha ha! Nice try. We don't even know anyone named Phyllis Stein!

I may not know much about art, but I know what they tell me I’m supposed to like.

Kyle, good call…………Ahhhh…memories………I’ve always wondered what Pete Townsend thought of that quote. I’m never really sure what is ironic, but I’d have to think that George’s quote would be close to one….

Given the general quality of Bucky’s writing, Satchel is better off even if it wasn’t an excuse to hit him.
