I’ve discovered that my wife’s Rain Checks don’t really have any temporal validity… they tend to bounce b/c the sun, moon, and stars are not in alignment to cash them.

Arlo is an example of only slightly delayed gratification.

I like dirty, sweaty hugs.

He didn’t try getting into the shower with her? He’s slowing down.

Arlo is getting old. It’s a RAIN check, I’d have cashed it in the shower!!

never turn down a chance to hug. It’s great that he still wants to even though you are a mess. Give me a guy like that!

She cleaned up only to put on the same outfit??

I’m pretty sure he did cash in during the shower. You can tell by the smile in panel two that the idea came to him. Showering together doesn’t save water when it triples the shower time. .And that was an especially intense lustful leer in one. Enough so that she had know how he would interpret “rain check.”.

And a nick-name for the shower is ‘the rain locker’. XD

She wasn’t given a new color so it looks like she’s wearing the same old yard clothes. He is just patiently waiting for his hug. That’s all the rain check was for.

The question I have is, will Arlo ever get laid again!?
