My yellow lab loved to meet new people, and she would wag her tail vigorously after running to meet them. She also realized she felt better after going to visit a veterinarian, and didn’t ride in the car anywhere else, so standing outside the car was her way of saying she wanted to go there. At least once, a vigorous tail wagging near the end of one such visit was her way of giving the veterinarian a big thank you for treating her illness.

The “vet” tail is similar to the “bath” tail.

Isn’t that also the ‘I peed in your slippers’ tail?

The tail tuck is a normal reaction to “snip-snip”.
