As I read it, Noah didn’t have anything to do with it.

I notice she’s not as depressed about school as much as she is about the actual world…….I don’t blame her….In the mean time, “All hail Kate!” And read a book.

Major letdown Kate only reads fiction.

History, bios and autobios would only increase Kate’s already off-the-charts capacity for perspicacity.

When I started reading seriously again, about 20 years ago, I started reading detective/crime novels…I still like them the best…They’re like puzzles….I don’t read them exclusively, but what I read is usually fiction. Also, because I’m a history buff, I read that stuff, too……A little science fiction, a little real science, anything new in science……So many books, so little time!

Books were always my escape. In the pages, I was an adventurer, a spy, a cowboy, instead of a skinny dork with poor-ish social skills. I still love a good story, only nowadays, the ink is electronic, and you can’t actually “turn the page”.The wonderful part of it is that it is now possible to store multiple thousands of stories in a space no bigger than a coffee table book. Technology is great!

I find today’s comic to be rather sad. While others are enjoying the Magical Woods of Niceness, Danae is interrupted by her pda telling her that she needs to go home.

Technically it was Yahweh’s flood, and Noah just rode it out, and Yahweh’s ten commandments thingy (which Moses found handily written on stone tablets). If you wanna believe that kinda thing………

Pan is like that with nature, he is a personification of it. Also sex, reproduction and death. Nature’s circle of life.

Books persist, thankfully, but become more threatened all the time, Kindle/electronic “books” are readable, but you still can’t hold the page, and right margin notes easily found later.

The real problem is the use of our computers and “communication” for “social media”, which Wiley rightly points out, has become so ANTI-social, and much more widely, and quickly, spread.

One of Wiley’s best.I never thought Danae would ever look cute, more like a child and imminent even. This is a side of her I didn’t think existed, except a slight contact rubbing elbows with the pajama girl.

I’ve noticed the I have not spent time with friends or family near as much like I used to pre-computer.

The era of the black plague, caused by fleas, blamed on rats, which sometimes whole families would be wiped out seemed worse than it is now.

News and situations are worse than I’ve ever seen it and sound like is about to become much worse soon.

Nuclear blackmail and FEMA camps and this election is going to be soon, and Israel has not forgotten the smell of burning flesh and has promised to take a “Samson solution” if they feel threatened.

Life seemed simpler and days seemed to have more time pre-web. But with places like Wikipedia we can look up history, and learn to not to repeat mistakes.

Big problem tho, is those in charge of things think they know it all already.
