    I wish everyone with those cursed devices would use them the same way and blast their inconsiderate selves out of the neighborhood. But then we’d probably just get more from the next neighborhood over. Too bad they don’t generate enough thrust to blast themselves into orbit.

    I never saw a leaf blower in the 60’s, which is supposedly when this cartoon takes place. They may well have existed, though. I certainly remember chainsaws.

    SameAsOldFfred you are correct. Leaf blowers came into existence in the 70s, but I still love the image. And I agree with all of you, the artwork is wonderful.

    I miss the trees changing in the fall. In this part of Texas they go from green right to brown and fall off, usually some time in December.
