ok guys - let’s here about all the great Scancarelli artwork

Slim better get some help with that lard suit, or one of these days Clovia’s gonna take a look, blush, go out, and never come in again.

Absolutely right, comic-reader, the artwork is a joy to behold. The humor is nice, too.

Scancarelli needs to put Slim on a diet … it would make a great, modern storyline.

That’s why I don’t go to the beach anymore. There is always someone trying to pull me back out in the surf.

My favorite artwork is in panel three. Oh Summer, never end!

That comment was being used in another strip. Me I wouldn’t be caught in a bathing suit. I don’t live anywhere near a beach, and it drive by a lake everyday so not interested. Everyone have a great Labor Day of relaxing.

I think Slim put on one of Clovia’s blouses by mistake… it’s covered with daisies and doesn’t fit even halfway around!

The lady is 61 years old. Hot she may be, but unlike some women at that age she does choose to maintain her dignity by NOT wearing a bikini at the beach.

She’s wearing green cuz she knows I like it.

It’s September. I wonder if Walt and Skeezix will take a walk to see the fall colors this year.

When my cousin was little, he said: “Mommy, I wanna go wimmin.” HIs mother replied: “No, honey. Wimmin is why your Daddy and granddaddy go to the beach. You want to go swimming.”

Better Clovia in a bikini than Slim in a speedo.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen her on a Sunday, but I thought Clovia was blond.
