These illusionary replays of history play rough.

Maybe Holly is controlling the dittos to see how Wally reacts in this situation. Aside: Still quite sick, next major Dr meeting for first results and suggested protocol on 2Sep2016.

Dang, Jenner – you’re readin’ my mind or something! I was just gonna say that this would be a great time to wake up in bed in Kansas surrounded by your friends and family.

Did I say 100 in the second elevator? Better go with 150… ;-)

What you want to bet Kirbee gets carried along with the 150? This is starting to look iffy….

Might be time for the Director of this memory lane experience to reveal him/herself…

I hope the elevator plays soothing Muzak, like “The Girl From Ipanema”.

I hope Kirbee is carried along with the mob. Chic will be holding on to her for dear life.Wally needs to get up on his kitty tippytoes and scramble along with the rest.Or maybe he could just grab onto a long leg going the right direction. At least we know that Holly and Doc are safe.Probably are playing the girl from Ipanema to honor the Olympics.Jenner, how far is it from Australia from New Zeeland? And how far to New Ginea?I know I didn’t spell that right. I wish I could emigrate there but They Say you gotta be well off to do so.

The panel 1 looks like it’s animated, my eyes just kind of made Wally come toward me and down some.I know it was an illusion, but still it seems to be the way you drew the scene. If that was your intent, it worked. Keep on drawing and you will alway be great!

They could tell themselves that it’s not really happening, but, somehow, I don’t think it’ll work.

Y’know, way back at the beginning of all this, Holly was kinda mad that Wally seemed to prefer Kirbee to her. If Holly hears Wally calling Kirbee’s name aloud…

The spell is broken if Wally calls Holly’s name 3 times. It is never going to get broken…

We know the dittos can read minds, but how about writing them? Instead of creating external illusions, they might be creating a shared lucid dream, involving all the senses. Kirbee looks like she got knocked out, then disappeared with Chic. That might mean they “woke up” and are outside the dream now.

Wally’s dream about Kid Marx and the wandering eye seemed very real to him, too. This might be the same kind of thing.

It seems like Kirbee was hit on the head, dropped Wally and was swept by the crowd into the elevator (or wherever they were going). We see something that looks like her leg in panel 2, but not in panel 4.

I bet they are coming out of it. Looking at Wally and remembering what all happened in unity, the way Kirbee liked to carry Wally around,, Kirbee may remind Wally a bit of “mom” when that meant safety from harm.

Wally is experiencing losses here – a potential partner, an adopted child – that mirror Holly’s losses of husband and child…
