Answer: Arizona. That’s the only Yuma I know and I happen to have some extended family there too.

mmh… One of the poles? Six months of straight sunlight in one go should count for something.

There’s an old joke about how Yuma, Arizona got its name. The punchline is the cavalryman, shot full of arrows screaming " You Ma…….." !

Yuma was where the old and notorious, Territorial Prison was located. It operated from 1879 until 1909 and was immortalized in films and western novels, including one of my favorite Elmore Leonard western short stories “Three-Ten To Yuma “( which was also made into a couple of films ).

Whoever laughed at this strip. Well, I guess you have a better sense of humour than me.

I honestly didn’t find any of this funny.

Grew up in Yuma, AZ. Clouds and rain were a cause for celebration. I refuse to move back or visit. i have tons of relatives in Yuma – they have my pity. Oh, and we are not Mormons.

If you think today’s strip is funny you have an odd sense of yuma.

The way the sentence is structured, which noun (Sun or Yuma) is being referenced by the “it”?
