Let’s face it….this election is a joke. You have incredible lies coming from both campaigns. Both are using “down-and-dirty” accusations….and when you throw in news organizations that want to put their own special “spin” on how and what they want you to hear we really are screwed.

It’s been going on a great deal longer. In years far past, U.S. elections were far more vicious, far worse outright lies were floated about opponents. And newspapers were vastly more partisan and outright cooperated with the liars and were very active in making up their own. People forget, but the worse of today’s in nicely civilized in comparison.

Prior campaigns may have been more vicious, but never before has a major party nominated a candidate as immoral as the candidate of either party this year. Lyndon Johnson was close, though.

I was first able to vote in 76. At the time, I thought there couldn’t be worse choices, boy was I wrong. They got worse every 4 years.
