Sluggo: When's lunch?
Nancy: A while-- Our cook is in beach boys world.
Aunt Fritzi: I'm pickin' up good vibrations-- She's givin' me excitations--Good, good, good.
Interesting how many people automatically associate going to the beach with ‘Good Vibrations.’ That song was a key part of the Beach Boys’ move to get away from the surfin’ and hot rod themes of their earlier records. It’s not at all about lying on the beach. It’s an introspective song about feelings. But it was their biggest hit until ‘Kokomo,’ and I suspect many people who bought it way back when didn’t realize the change either.

I wonder how many wrecks Fritzi causes with her sunbathing?

Kids, you might as well go make PBJ sandwiches and a glass of milk. Fritzi’s in her own little world…
