La Cucaracha's 200 Years of Mexico Sponsored by Jan's jails serving Arizona's private prison needs Cuco: Did you know that the Mayan calendar does not predict the end of the world on 12-21-2010? Unfortunately...
And we didn’t notice he used the year 2010 instead of 2012? So if that’s deliberately an Aztec calendar, maybe it has a different end of the calendar date. Too bad today’s strip did not follow this thread.

You mean I’m going to have to pay for everything I bought with no payments until 2013? May I return them?

I think that “Unfortunately…” means it’s really predicted to end this week.

You mean that hairy, dirty guy with the sign on Main St might be right?

Yes, the world is coming to an end! In about 4 1/2 billion years, so don’t make any calendars past that time.

The imagine Alcaraz used in the strip isn’t the maya calendar. It’s the aztec. Believe me, I am from Mexico City.

Of course it’s not your’a calendar. You’re from Mexico City. If it were your’a calendar, you’d be from much farther south.
Sorry! Don’t know what came over me.

When my calendar runs out, I go to the bank & they give me a new one. Does anyone remember who the FSLIC sold the Mayan Savings & Loan to?
