ALCARAZ She didn’t pass the law, the legislature did. The voters elected them What do you want, return to anarchy? Some big guy gonna steal your cart little dude. OK, maybe we keep some laws, the ones you want. I know! Become citizens and vote! What a brain storm. Why didn’t anyone else think of it? Use the system.
a good, sound strategy for this particular governor to retain her office would be to decline comment on everything , decline any more debates and remain in her office away from cameras and recording devices; above all, to just shut the phuck up until November
I wish just once we could have a month where Arizona had no non-citizen immigrants or ‘illegals’ in their state. Just to see the wingnuts freak when society breaks down.
Maybe John McCain will let everyone know where those $50/hour lettuce picking jobs can be had, I highly doubt anglo Arizonans will do the work for what migrant workers are paid.
But like all issues, conservatives talk a good game, while actually being in favor of the status quo. They want the illegals to remain ‘underground’. If the immigration problem was solved (as some leading Republicans proposed circa 2005), they’d have to go back to fearmongering against Muslims and teh gays.
I’m gonna agree with ottod on the cartoon’s subject.
Re: Debate Debacle - I found it amusing but also sad that a Governor should be ill prepared & won’t answer questions regarding her statement on headless bodies being found in the Arizona desert (not true).

Lew and Harley, I’m pretty sure the comment is about the recent debate in which Brewer’s performance made Palin look erudite. Try to keep up.

I think California should also exercise its sovereign right to protect its borders, since the Federal Government obviously isn’t willing to do so.
California should start requiring entry visas from all citizens of Arizona, beginning now.
