So the school district actually has the right to tell Mrs. Radley whether or not she can put a little library in her yard? I assumed that type of decision would be made by the local high school athletic director.
P1- True proudly wears his Powerful Mach 5 tee shirt. He will need Speed Racer’s ride to make it to Winston-Salem in time for the 7 PM kickoff tonight. How many games before the Wake student section chants, “We want True”?
Why is Tru(e) answering a question from Ms. Ducey? She just started yelling things out during the dedication? I guess putting the first one in the Radley’s yard is symbolic or whatever, but I don’t know how much use it will get unless people are randomly wandering through the Radley’s yard.
So after all this time, the whole plot was about a Milford High School Junior Achievement project? Tru continues: OK, who wants to order one? Mrs. Thorp, you can store the Mimosa mixes and towels by your pool. Mrs. Radley is going to turn this into a Purple Martin house. There’s a fan out there who wants to store soap and other shower supplies. C’mon, who wants to order one?
So the press showed up for this dedication of the 3 foot tall free backyard library? How did they know since it was a BIG SECRET? And I’m still questioning why Marjie is yelling out questions during the dedication. And speaking of dedication, I appreciate the dedication of those of you that read Mopped Up Thorp every day.

That middle-aged student in the back row is a future industrial solvents salesman if ever I’ve seen one.

Only two days left. I guess tomorrow will be the day Barry and Mrs. Boo hug it out.

Invent the idea? I don’t think True has mastered AP English after all.

I imagine all of us look a lot like Mrs. Radley today, crying tears of frustration as this story lumbers along with no end in sight.

I hope Gil volunteers to put one of these little boxes up at the Milford Country Club so he can make at least one visit there this summer.

So Tru(e) becomes the leader off the gridiron Gil wanted him to become, let’s move to forgiving Barry and onto some GOLF.

Well, as lame as it is, at least R&W make a new strip 6x a week. Mark Trail does like one a month.

I don’t see the purpose in this. Around here all the books would be stolen in one night.

Pshew, an awful lot of work for a cartoonist, just to introduce a website.
