AirBnb considers Facebook to be the only acceptable proof that you exist as a real person. If you don’t have a Facebook or at least LinkedIn page, forget about getting an AirBnb account.
If you’ve lived in someplace like, say, NYC your whole life and never needed or owned a car, and you’ve been voting for 70 years without a photo ID, you don’t drive and maybe you can’t walk very far, just how are you supposed to go get one now?
I tried to buy a pack of cigarettes with an expired drivers license, they would not “except” the expired license, I said I’m not driving a car, they insisted that it mattered. I returned with my Pass Port !!!
