I have inadvertently contacted 110VAC, and while it’s unpleasant and can (under the right circumstances) kill you, it won’t frizz your hair like that. Much more effective is the perfectly harmless Van de Graaf generator we have at the high school, which produces hundreds of thousasnds of volts of static charge and absolutely magnificent hairdos.
