    Good morning Vagabonds.

Just had a little shower that just about wet the ground. In

Boston they had to use umbrellas to stand outside and give

    the news.

Going to be in the mid 60’s all week.

    Morning, Village!

Today is the Shriner’s Benefit Golf Tournament! Although I’m not a Shriner, I love what they do for those kids and always participate for their benefit! We’ll play Scramble, and I know I’ll be the worst player on the team, but it goes to help the kids, so, so what?

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Well, our chances of rain are over for about a week. 60’s and 70’s, and even low 80’s on Tuesday. WooHoo! Indian Summer!

Just read an email from the computer factory. They received my unit yesterday, and will let me know if they can’t find what’s wrong with the speakers. Estimated date of arrival is October 5th!!!! Egads!!!! That is insane! I should have just paid a local person and wouldn’t have to put up with all this! Oh well, the warranty period is over on October 7th anyway.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

David, have fun at the golf tourny. When you enjoy the game, it doesn’t matter how good you are. And as you said, it’s for the kids. The new men’s rehab center in nearby Pahrump is having their 2nd annual golf tournament on October 10. It is the U-turn for Christ ministry, and they do wonderful work in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. I don’t play at all, but if I did I would be the first to sign up.

Continuing cool and comfortable here. It is currently 67 with a forecast of just 83. The humidity has gone back down, so it’s great!

    Good Sunday morning, vagabonds.

Going down to the 40’s overnight. Tomorrow up to low 60’s and most of the week.

Possibility of rain on Tues. but I wouldn’t bet on it.

    Have a good day.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Mark, enjoy your ride. It sounds like fun.

Rita, I know what you mean about your computer being held hostage. Staples had mine for way too long when the fan went out. They wouldn’t believe that was the problem. Once they finally got the new fan and installed it, no more problem. Funny how that works. (And next time something goes wrong, it’s the geek squad for me.)

Next Saturday is the church parking lot sale. I have a whole lot of stuff to sell, including 6 boxes of books. It should be fun, the one last spring was. I have already sold my Christmas wreaths, so the only ones left are the patriotic one and the Easter one. I don’t know if they will sell at this time of year, but we’ll see.

Time to finish getting ready for church. Everyone have a fun and restful Sunday and catch you all tomorrow.

    Jan and Rita:

I have a PC and am fortunate to have my grandson as my IT man so I don’t have to send it away. With him, I can get my computer custom built for my particular needs and not have stuff installed that I don;t need.
