I read each and every one… And honestly, as I went down the thread I felt myself getting a little misty eyed and happily overwhelmed—in the best way. I’ve been working hard in the midst of this move to get strips ready to pitch to papers, and it’s been odd because it’s outside of my routine and it’s really tough not being able to immediately post them to all of you. (Though hopefully I will be able to share some rough drafts soon, and you know me, you know I’m trying to think of a few strips I can sneak in). Reading all of your kind words reminds me why I do this, and I feel incredibly lucky to write for all of you. You’ve been patient during this break, and I appreciate it so much, because I am a big, excited, hopeful, anxious ball of nerves adjusting to the big move to Washington and getting the comic ready for newspapers all at once. I was hoping for a few testimonials to share with my editor, and I returned to find 81 here!!! Thank you. You made my night!

I love this comic! I don’t have cats now but I did and this simply cracks me up every day. I love the art work and the love that comes through all of your strips. Good luck on your move and you deserve every bit of happiness that comes your way…
