Both the Crossword Puzzle and Spin the Bottle were invented and rose to common use about the same time, just on opposite sides of the world.

I used to do the daily and Sunday Times puzzles back in the day. Now that I’m in The Villages and looking for puzzle books for the room I do business in, all I can find is Large Print “Find a Word,” “Soduko” and “Easy Puzzle Books”.. argh.
