I have one rule that everybody obeys, do not touch my headphones. Even my Mom knows not to touch them, out of respect.

I flick the room lights off and on to get my son’s attention…. it works well without any startling or temper.

Perhaps Mike is possessed, and in need of an exorcism? Ok,cue the Tubular bells overture, and bring in the priest!

It may just be a Michael issue. Elizabeth is so cutesy-pootsy that there is no way any attitude problems can come from her , period.

Are we sure Michael is 12 in this strip? This attitude describes my 8yo to a tee.

I’ve got a 10 1/2 year old grandson who’s attitude and personality, like Michael’s, is pretty typical for the age.

    .

As many middle school teachers can tell you. those “tween” years are really a harder adjustment for kids than their teens, in lots of ways.

With a mother like that, I’d be prone to suicide.
