I lived in England for awhile and if you knew what our friends across the big lake call a fanny, you might not call one of those things a “fanny pack.”
Although, it IS situated in the proper place… I might giggle about this all day.
I Love cargo shorts Lew. Do you know how much stuff you can put in the pockets? It’s great!
Lessee, I got 2 cell phones, a pockets knife, 6 pens, 2 pairs of glasses, $23 in change, 3 lighters, 2 packs of smokes, a fork and spoon, a box of kleenex, my lunch, thermos of coffee, first aid kit, 4 road flares, flashlight, 32 pc tool kit, hibachi, bag of charcoal, coleman lantern, beach towel and an umbrella>
My 21 year old son loves cargo shorts or pants (as long as they have elastic waistbands). I was watching him empty the pockets on another pair of (non-cargo) pants last evening, let’s see…wallet, cell phone, Tums, small pill case, pocket Puffs, keys, pocketknife, small flashlight, 3 flash drives… If he wears cargo pants, at least he can spread all that out over more pockets, and he might stick a book in for reading too.
i drive a city bus and our new uniforms are cargo pants and shorts…..with the pockets below the seat belt it makes it easier to get to the pepper spray or mace in the lower pockets

I think I’d wear one before a “Man Purse” I’d go with a burlap bag first. Don’t get me going about cargo pants.
