There is no audience so appreciative as a bunch of 5 and 6-year-olds when you do a great job.

I did that once…the kids were SO appreciative…I had lots of fun too.

That was me when I was the guest reader in my daughter’s kindergarten class. They especially loved how the book I chose was one that I loved when I was a child (“Hubert’s Hair-Raising Adventure”).

Can’t have physical contact like this in schools these days.

Friend works as a volunteer in an elementary school. She tells me of the hugs she gets.
