Someone’s already invented microwave toast. The hospitals where I live used to use it (I don’t know if they do anymore). The bread was toasted at a central kitchen, frozen, and then trucked to local hospitals where the kitchen staff had the honour of microwaving it.

Or trout. Especially with the head and tail still on.

Sometimes I heat up frozen waffles in the microwave

They taste just fine, but they come out all limp like a clock in a Dali painting

I use my microwave for some defrosting and husband used to use it to make popcorn when he could eat it.

Food made in a microwave is horrible texture, as well as too hot and then almost immediately too cooled off.

It takes less time to boil water on the stove so the only time I even use a microwave for that is in our RV as we don’t want to turn on the propane for the stove just to boil water.
