Just like Stanford. A long time ago a friend furnished a two bedroom apartment the day after graduation by recycling some items left on the sidewalks of the dorms.
This strip and the advice it offers couldn’t have appeared at a more opportune time. The outcome of the 2016 election means hard times ahead for the middle class and even harder times ahead for those in poverty.
A Republican President coupled with Republican majorities in both the House and the Senate will guarantee continued prosperity for the top one percent. The wealth and wage gaps will continue to widen.
In Boston, the neighborhood called Brighton (a place chock full of student housing), every early September there’s what’s known as Brighton Christmas, where this exact scenario is played out – so much so that it’s often hard to walk the sidewalks with the sheer amount of excess furniture.

College Towns are the best, especially rich kids colleges. I get TV’s, Microwaves, Dvd players, gaming systems, laptops, and PC’s and furniture.
